Nearly 2, 000 houses in the Valley High School area were without power for four hours Friday.
The outage began at 4:30 p.m., with power restored at 8:30 p.m.
It wasn’t immediately known what caused the outages, according to a representative at NV Energy, but the cause is under investigation.
The area mostly includes Karen and Sahara avenues and Eastern Avenue, she said.
