PRELIMINARY MATH TEST FAILURE RATES
Clark County School District's new exams given in January to measure how well high school students have learned curriculum-required skills in algebra and geometry during the first semester showed that an average of 90.5 percent of students scored failing grades of 0 percent to 59 percent. Results for Desert Pines, Global, Laughlin and the College of Southern Nevada high schools are not yet available.
