Privé reopening this weekend with conditions in place

Privé nightclub and its ultralounge, the Living Room, closed since last month, will reopen this weekend inside Planet Hollywood Resort under a 30-day temporary liquor license with more than a dozen conditions prohibiting activity that caused the clubs to run afoul in the eyes of Clark County officials.

The Clark County Commission granted the operators of the club the month-long permit following a hearing Tuesday. However, commissioners asked that club officials, representatives of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, state gaming authorities and executives from Planet Hollywood all return to commission chambers on Sept. 1 for a status check.

Privé and Living Room still need to pass public safety inspections and meet all the conditions handed down by commissioners before reopening.
