Improve your health and get fit on the treadmills, bicycles, free weights and universal weight machines in the senior fitness room in the Doolittle Senior Center, 1930 N. J St. Room use is free with senior center membership. The room is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information, call 229-6125.

Indoor shuffle board
offered Mondays

Play shuffleboard indoors from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Mondays on a full-size court at Las Vegas Senior Center, 451 E. Bonanza Road. Admission is free. To sign up, call 229-6454.

Pickle Ball set at Paradise and Dula

Pickle ball play is scheduled at 1 p.m. Tuesdays and 11:15 a.m. Wednesdays at the Paradise Recreation Center, 4775 S. McLeod Drive. The game is a combination of lawn tennis, badminton and tennis. Participation is for seniors 50 or older and is free, but players must sign up for a free Cactus Room membership card. For more information, call 455-7513.

Pickle Ball for adults is scheduled from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at Dula Gym, 441 E. Bonanza Road. Equipment and instructions are provided. There is a $2 annual gym membership fee. For more information, call 229-6307.

Fitness classes offered at senior center

Fitness classes in yoga, tai chi, Pilates, Zumba, strength training and indoor walking are offered at the East Las Vegas/Community Senior Center, 250 N. Eastern Ave.For a full schedule, visit lasvegasnevada.gov or call the center at 229-1515.
