Reno police seek public’s help to find car wash armed robber

RENO - Reno police are looking for a suspect in an armed robbery at a car wash southeast of downtown.

Police say a heavyset, white male in his mid-40s displayed a handgun and took an undisclosed amount of cash from the cash register in the holdup at the Franktown Car Wash on Kietzke Lane just after 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

No one was hurt.

The man is described as about 5-foot-6, wearing a black hat, white shirt and black shorts.
