Rizzolo son gets suspended sentence in extortion, stabbing case

The son of the former owner of the Crazy Horse Too topless cabaret will avoid jail time in a 2007 extortion and stabbing case.

District Judge Jackie Glass today sentenced Dominic Rizzolo, 26, son of Rick Rizzolo, to spend 12 months to 72 months in prison but suspended the sentence.

She placed Dominic Rizzolo on probation for five years. "You need to be right down the straight and narrow," Glass said.

Authorities accused Dominic Rizzolo of trying to extort $20,000 from another man who Dominic Rizzolo believed might have been involved in a theft. Dominic Rizzolo, according to an arrest report, then stabbed the man.

Authorities charged Dominic Rizzolo with extortion and battery with a deadly weapon and he later pleaded guilty to battery with a deadly weapon.

"I apologize for what I did and I accept responsibility for it," Dominic Rizzolo told the judge.
