ROAD WORK ALERT: I-15 lane closures start tonight
Northbound and southbound Interstate 15, between Lake Mead Boulevard and Cheyenne Avenue, will have changing lane closures from 9 p.m. today to 5 a.m. Thursday as construction of the North Fifth Street bridge over the freeway continues, the city of North Las Vegas announced Wednesday.
The lane closures will continue on the same stretch of I-15 northbound from 9 p.m. Thursday to 5:30 a.m. Friday.
The $30 million bridge improvement is part of the city's North Fifth Street Arterial Project. The bridge is expected to be complete in 2013.
