Santa’s helpers join the blogosphere

Even Santa turns to the World Wide Web for help watching the weather. The elves at Weather Underground (www.wunderground.com/santaforecast/), one of the better online weather sites, are making it easier for people to track Christmas Eve meteorology. The "Flying Reindeer Forecast" follows the forecast across each continent for the conditions Santa will have to handle on his annual trip around the globe.

Jeff Masters, meteorology director and blogger for wundergound.com, is the elf behind the scenes.
“As always Santa will face some hazardous weather conditions, but he will be well prepared as he always checks his weather at wunderground.com,” Masters said in a statement. “Yes, it’s going to tricky in parts, but we predict that Santa will come through OK.”

Merry Christmas to all, and to Santa, a good flight!
