Scow announces for Rory Reid’s commission seat

Former Clark County School Board member Mary Beth Scow announced today she will pursue Rory Reid's County Commission seat, making her the first to declare candidacy for the post.

Reid, whose term as commissioner ends next year, is running for governor. He is not seeking re-election to the commission.

Scow, a Democrat, served 12 years on the School Board before leaving due to term limits.
