Second man dies after Monday triple-shooting

A second man has died in connection with Monday's triple-shooting on a residential street near Sahara Avenue and Decatur Boulevard.

Paul Armando Rodelo, 22, died Tuesday night at University Medical Center, confirmed the Clark County coroner's office.

Juan Carlos Benitez, 20, died at the scene of the shooting on Edna Avenue.

Las Vegas police arrested 19-year-old Jose Granados Tuesday and booked him into the Clark County Detention Center on a count of murder with a deadly weapon and two counts of attempted murder with a deadly weapon.

Police said shortly before 12:30 p.m. Monday, they were called to the 5000 block of Edna in response to shots fired. Upon arrival, they found one man dead in the passenger seat of a Ford pickup truck and two other people who'd been shot nearby.

Police said the shooting stemmed from an ongoing dispute with another man who resides on the street.
