Shooting victim was NLV man

A man found dead Saturday inside a black Dodge Durango near Commerce Street and Brooks Avenue was identified by the Clark County coroner's office as Cornell Ferguson Joshua, 34, of North Las Vegas.

Joshua died from multiple gunshot wounds, the coroner's office said Monday.

North Las Vegas police were dispatched to the 400 block of Mayflower Avenue about 11:40 a.m. Saturday to investigate the death. Police said Monday they did not have any new information about the slaying.
