Siegel Group acquires Mount Charleston Hotel

The Siegel Group Nevada, Inc. and Great American Capital announced a joint venture partnership today in the acquisition of the Mount Charleston Hotel. The Siegel Group owns a 50 percent interest in the mountain resort in the Toiyabe National Forest and assumes operational control through its SASCO Properties division.

The 64-room resort with a restaurant, spa and banquet facilities, at 2 Kyle Canyon Road about a half-hour from downtown Las Vegas, sits on a nearly 6-acre site. A statement from Siegel says the new ownership plans a major cosmetic renovation to modernize the facilities.

The Siegel Group also owns and operates 14 Siegel Suites locations in the valley and the Gold Spike casino downtown, which it acquired in January.
