Stand-up likes it straight-up
"Chelsea Lately" star Chelsea Handler jokes she's destroying her internal organs with alcohol thanks to her "dedication and perseverance" to swill.
"You have to be laser focused" on drinking to demolish yourself correctly, the comedian jokes. (Or, I think she's joking.)
Handler -- doing stand-up comedy Saturday at Caesars Colosseum -- talked of falling in love with vodka in her best-seller "Are You There, Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea."
But she's been having a dalliance with tequila, lately.
"I'm getting bored of vodka. Sometimes, you go through phases when you're over a drink."
And whoa, she doesn't mix anything into vodka or tequila. Nada. Just booze.
"I like whatever I drink straight, and I like to sip it. And with vodka, I started gulping it."
See her drink and/or drink and perform at 10:30 p.m. Saturday at the Colosseum. Tickets cost $50-$100.
