Student, 36, found dead at Lake Tahoe college
A student has been found dead in the lobby at Lake Tahoe Community College in South Lake Tahoe.
Police told the Tahoe Daily Tribune that the 36-year-old woman was seated in a chair and may have been dead for several hours Friday afternoon before a staff member noticed she was not breathing and called authorities.
Attempts to revive the woman failed.
Police Sgt. Shannon Laney says the cause of death was unknown but there were no signs of foul play.
The woman's name was not immediately released pending notification of family members.
