Substitute teacher arrested on child porn charges

A Clark County substitute teacher was arrested and charged with 17 counts of possession of child pornography. Aaron M. Ringewold, 26, was arrested Friday after being identified in a long-term Henderson police investigation into the downloading of child pornography, police said today.

Ringewold had been teaching at O’Callaghan Middle School. At this time, police said there is no evidence the children in the pornography were past or present students of Ringewold.

Those with information on the case are asked to contact Henderson police at 702-267-4750.
