Summerlin Parkway closures start late tonight

Beginning tonight motorists can expect temporary closures on Summerlin Parkway, between U.S. Highway 95 and Buffalo Drive, in both directions throughout the weekend, the Las Vegas Public Works Department announced.

At 11 p.m. tonight through 5 a.m. Sunday, westbound Summerlin Parkway will be closed from U.S. 95 to Buffalo Drive because of construction.

Motorists should watch for posted detour signs.

The closures are due to the ongoing construction of the Tenaya Way overpass over the Summerlin Parkway.
