Suspect in double slaying may face death penalty

For the second time in as many days the man charged with the brutal slayings of a mother and her daughter appeared in court. Clark County's top prosecutor, District Attorney Steve Wolfson, said his office may seek the death penalty for the brutal slayings.

Grand Traverse County Sheriff Michael Shea said a motive behind the attack by Bradford Gille, 42, of Afton, Michigan, remains unclear. Gille, who Shea said had “prior assaultive incidents as well as controlled substance violations,” said very little as he was arrested.
