Suspect sought in downtown Las Vegas shooting

Las Vegas police homicide detectives are looking for a suspect who shot and killed a man in a neighborhood near downtown Las Vegas on Thursday.

The man was shot multiple times on the 700 block of Jefferson Avenue at 3:18 p.m., according to police. Witnesses told investigators they heard an argument between the victim and another person coming from the victim’s apartment shortly before the shooting.

Police do not have a description of the suspect. The victim’s name was not released.
