Suspect sought in shooting of slot machine technician

Police say at least one assailant is being sought after a slot machine technician was shot during an apparent robbery outside a southwest Las Vegas restaurant and bar.

Las Vegas police Officer Laura Meltzer said Tuesday an employee heard gunfire and called police a little before 10 p.m. Monday to the Village Pub on Rainbow Boulevard south of Warm Springs Road.

The victim was taken to University Medical Center in Las Vegas with injuries that Meltzer said didn't appear to be life-threatening.

A description of the assailant wasn't available.
