Taxes — deal or no deal?

While conservatives bemoan the fact the deal cut by President Obama and congressional Republicans is too short lived, only two years, Sen. Harry Reid is saying there may not be a deal yet.

When asked, he replied, “No, I think we are going to have to do some more work on it.”

There is no truce in the class warfare. The rich must be made to pay for their undeserved success in life.

“While this is not an arrangement many in the caucus would have made, we understand the president is negotiating with congressional Republicans who are willing to risk everything in order to secure tax cuts for the wealthiest of all Americans,” Reid said.

When do tax rates that have been in play for nearly a decade become “rates” and not “cuts”?

As for those on unemployment for nearly two years, don’t expect another 13 months of benefits — don’t call it unemployment insurance, that was exhausted long ago. It turns out the deal, if there is a deal, only assures those now getting jobless benefits will continue on the dole till they reach 99 weeks. Many in this stagnant and uncertain economy are already there. Sorry, no mas.

One observer said Reid came out of the meeting with Joe Biden looking like someone shot his dog.

Obama is not backing off his class warfare stance either:
