TUESDAY

The Southern Nevada Regional Planning Coalition Board meets at 4 p.m. at the Clark County Government Center, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway.

The Mesquite City Council meets at 5 p.m. in council chambers of Mesquite City Hall, 10 E. Mesquite Blvd.

THURSDAY

The Southern Nevada District Board of Health meets at 8:30 a.m. in council chambers of Las Vegas City Hall, 495 S. Main St.

The Regional Flood Control District Technical Advisory Committee meets at 9 a.m. in Room 108 of the RTC/RFCD Administrative Building, 600 S. Grand Central Parkway.

Henderson officials ask judge to toss lawsuit alleging retaliation

Henderson and a top city official are asking a judge to dismiss a lawsuit filed by a real estate agent who alleged he was stripped of his volunteering duties at the HPD as retaliation for speaking out in support of the city’s fired police chief.
