Three in custody in connection with Oct. 1 shooting at Orleans
Las Vegas police arrested three people in connection with an attempted robbery and shooting that left one man injured inside a hotel room at the Orleans on Oct. 1.
Police said the first two suspects was arrested Monday. A third suspect was arrested Wednesday.
They are Amanda Mae Psomas, 25, Roderick Renee Sawyer, 30 and Asia Laqueese Jeter, 23. All suspects face multiple charges, including attempted murder, robbery with a deadly weapon, burglary with use of a deadly weapon, first-degree kidnapping with a deadly weapon and conspiracy to commit kidnapping.
Police said the injured victim was shot in the abdomen about 4:30 a.m. Oct. 1. He was taken to University Medical Center. His condition was unknown Wednesday.
Police said the incident may have been the result of prostitution activity.
