Two children killed in fire identified

KINGMAN, Ariz.-- The two children killed in a fire that destroyed a mobile home at the Lake Mead National Recreation Area were identified Tuesday as Micah Gnagy, 9, and sister Rowan Gnagy, 3.

National Park Service investigators said the cause of the fire, which was reported about 11 a.m. Monday at the Temple Bar Marina, appears to be accidental, according to park service spokesman Andrew Munoz, who added that the investigation is ongoing.

The Clark County Fire Department is investigating the cause of the blaze, though the fire was on the south side of the lake in Mohave County, Ariz.

Munoz said the children's parents work at park concessions. Their whereabouts during the fire weren't known. The cause of the deaths will be determined by the Mohave County medical examiner.
