Two dead, five hurt in fire at Arizona mobile home

KINGMAN, Ariz. -- Two people died and five were injured in a Sunday morning residential fire in the northwest Arizona community of Fort Mohave.

Those injured in the 5:10 a.m. fire in the 5600 block of Ruby Street were transported to area hospitals for treatment, according to the Fort Mojave-Mesa Fire Department, which is investigating the blaze.

Battalion Chief Jody Hall said the two victims died inside the mobile home and are believed to be under the age of 18.

Hall said the fire did not appear to be of suspicious origin. He said it destroyed the residence, a detached garage and a vehicle.
