Two injured in five-vehicle wreck

At least two people were injured in a five-vehicle accident near Charleston Boulevard and the Las Vegas beltway Thursday afternoon, according to Nevada Highway Patrol.

Trooper Loy Hixson said the accident occurred around 2 p.m. and involved four vehicles and a motorcyclist.

One individual was removed from an overturned SUV and was taken to a nearby hospital.

The motorcyclist was also transported.
