Two killed, four injured when truck collides with car

Reno police said two people were killed and four injured Sunday in a head-on collision.

In a news release, police said a westbound pickup crossed into eastbound traffic lanes on W. 4th St. about 2 p.m. The truck hit a passenger car, killing two of its occupants and sending a third to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Three passengers in the truck were taken to the hospital with injuries.

The truck's 32-year-old male driver suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

Police arrested the driver and booked him into jail on suspicion of DUI-drugs. They said the man was operating the car on a suspended license.
