Two swimmers found drowned in Lake Mohave

Two swimmers drowned at Lake Mohave Tuesday night and officials with the National Park Service believe they were brothers from Mexico.

Emergency responders received reports of a man floating face down in the water near Six Mile Cove around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday. The body of a second man was found two hours later.

The men were last seen swimming from the shore near Six Mile Cove.

Rangers located the men’s car. Their names were not released. One victim was 33 years old. The second was 29 years old.

They weren’t wearing life jackets.
