UFL: Locos edge Colonials in OT, 24-21

Steve Hauschka kicked a 53-yard field goal with 17 seconds remaining in overtime today to lift the Las Vegas Locos to a dramatic 24-21 victory over the Hartford Colonials in front of an announced crowd of 8,451 at Sam Boyd Stadium.

It was the fourth straight win by the Locos (4-1), who outlasted the Florida Tuskers 20-17 in last year's inaugural United Football League championship game in the only other overtime contest in league history.

Hartford, which rallied from a late 21-13 deficit to force overtime, appeared poised to win late in overtime, but kicker Taylor Mehlhaff missed a 38-yard field goal attempt wide right.
