Vanity Fair adds name in Tiger tale
April 2, 2010 - 11:00 pm
Another high-profile name with Las Vegas nightclub connections has surfaced in the Tiger Woods infidelity scandal.
Los Angeles nightlife impresario Brent Bolthouse is mentioned in the May issue of Vanity Fair, which features "The Temptation of Tiger Woods," one of the most comprehensive accounts to date of the golf star's double life.
Porn star Holly Sampson told Vanity Fair that Bolthouse got her involved in a May 2009 bachelor party Woods was throwing for an associate.
She referred to Bolthouse as "a good friend of mine ... he was good friends' with one of (Woods) assistants."
Bolthouse's Las Vegas connections include being hired by Peter Morton -- some say they were partners -- to help supply celebrities for Body English nightclub at the Hard Rock Hotel, which opened in 1995.
Bolthouse, now 40, also was part of an ownership group that purchased the Sahara hotel three years ago. He was involved with Sam Nazarian's SBE Entertainment Group, which partnered with San Francisco-based Stockbridge Real Estate Funds.
The Los Angeles Times recently referred to Bolthouse as a "go-to guy for music-heavy corporate events."
Nazarian and Bolthouse split a year ago, but Bolthouse continues to own and operate a number of well-known clubs in Los Angeles.
Bolthouse has appeared in the MTV reality show "The Hills," where he was cast as Heidi Montag's "boss."
Asked to comment on the Woods linkage, Bolthouse, an event producer and DJ, told Vanity Fair, "I can't comment on the work I do for people."
Meanwhile, another prominent figure in the Woods scandal, Rachel Uchitel, has confirmed she's living in Las Vegas.
Uchitel, the former Tao VIP host who has been referred to as Mistress No. 1, told FoxNews.com last week that she has moved here with her dogs. She has family here, she said, and added that she's enjoying getting less scrutiny than she got from the media while living in New York City.
