Victim in motorcycle wreck was Fort Mohave man, 47

KINGMAN, Ariz. -- Police have released the name of the Fort Mohave, Ariz., man killed early Saturday in a motorcycle accident in Bullhead City.

Bullhead City police spokeswoman Emily Montague said 47-year-old Steven L. Faatz was dead at the scene of the
12:09 a.m. accident.

Faatz was eastbound when he lost control of his motorcycle on Adobe Road, Montague said. He failed to negotiate a curve, and his motorcycle left Adobe near the Bullhead Parkway.

Montague said Faatz was not wearing a helmet and suffered fatal injuries when he was thrown from his motorcycle. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
