A man was shot and killed during an apparent drug deal in a church parking lot Wednesday night.
The man, whose name and age weren't available late Thursday, was shot about 10:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the Centro Evantelistico Palabra Vivia church, on Mojave Road near Desert Inn Road, according to Las Vegas police.
While the church was closed, the man drove into the parking lot to meet a person in another vehicle, police said.
The man left his 2000 Buick Regal and got into the other car, a small four-door, light-colored sedan.
After the man returned to the Buick, police said, he was hit in the face by a shotgun blast. He stumbled out of the car and was found dead in the parking lot, according to police.
