Visitors have another place to check their bags before a flight
Las Vegas visitors will have another place to ditch their bags instead of hauling them through the airport.
On Thursday officials from McCarran International Airport announced they added a fifth permanent location for the SpeedCheck Advance baggage system.
The new location is at the front desk lobby at The Venetian.
SpeedCheck Advance is an off-site bag check location that allows departing visitors to check luggage and obtain boarding passes hours in advance of their flights.
It allows them to bypass skycaps and ticketing counters at the airport. they can be reunited with the bags at their home airport.
The cost is $20 for the bag check, but the boarding pass is free.
Other SpeedCheck locations are at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Luxor, McCarran Rent-a-Car Center and Sands Expo Center.
