Wadsworth man dies after crash on Interstate 80

A 23-year-old Wadsworth man is dead following an SUV crash on Interstate 80 near Fernley.

The Nevada Highway Patrol said Boyd Jackson was pronounced dead the scene of the crash around dawn Saturday.

The Reno Gazette-Journal reported he was at the wheel of the SUV when it veered off the road and rolled over, throwing him from the vehicle.

Two passengers who were also from Wadsworth were hospitalized with one listed in good condition and the other later released.

The patrol said that prior to the crash several motorists had reported the vehicle was being driven recklessly and troopers were attempting to locate it at the time of the crash.
