Weather service issues freeze warning

A freeze warning for Southern Clark County will be in effect from midnight until 9 a.m. tomorrow, according to the National Weather Service.

The warning means sub-freezing temperatures are likely. Officials said conditions could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation, and pets and delicate plants should be brought inside.

Sprinklers set to run between 10 p.m. tonight and 9 a.m. tomorrow should be turned off, officials said.
