What’s Bugging Nevada

One thing my poodle Henri and I appreciate about Nevada since moving here from Florida is the relative scarcity of insects. Henri doesn’t need a flea collar in this dry desert climate.

But state lawmakers, in their desire to make Nevada more like other states, have asked fourth graders to nominate an official state insect.

They have limited the nomination process to school children, but for the sake for democracy, which bug would you nominate?
