Woman killed in downtown crash identified

A 64-year-old woman who was killed in a two-vehicle crash downtown Thursday afternoon was identified Friday.

Ermee Clark, of Las Vegas, was driving a Dodge Intrepid west on Gass Avenue about noon when her car was struck by a Ford Econoline traveling north on Fourth Street. The driver of the Econoline was identified as 20-year-old Jordan Jones of Las Vegas.

Clark and her passenger, Sammy Quemuel, 75, were taken to University Medical Center, where Clark died. Quemuel received moderate injuries, Las Vegas police said.

Jones remained at the scene with moderate injuries.

The crash was the 47th traffic fatality under the jurisdiction of Las Vegas police in 2012.
