Woman killed in three-car crash
A woman died Monday night in a three-car crash that happened as she was exiting northbound U.S. Highway 95 at Lake Mead Boulevard, the Nevada Highway Patrol said.
Trooper Kevin Honea did not release the name of the victim. He said the collision occurred about 8:15 p.m. The woman was driving a Chevrolet sedan that hit the offramp wall. She was rear-ended by a car that pushed her Chevrolet onto East Lake Mead Boulevard, where it was clipped by a third vehicle.
The woman was pronounced dead at University Medical Center. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. There were no other major injuries.
