Woman killed in three-car crash

A woman died Monday night in a three-car crash that happened as she was exiting northbound U.S. Highway 95 at Lake Mead Boulevard, the Nevada Highway Patrol said.

She was rear-ended by a car that pushed her Chevrolet onto East Lake Mead Boulevard, where it was clipped by a third vehicle.

The woman was pronounced dead at University Medical Center. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. There were no other major injuries.
