Xenophobia is where you find it

I was reminded the other day of how some people judge others on the flimsiest of evidence. Like the time my liberal Democrat baby brother made the mistake of moving to California and everybody looked down their noses at him because he was from the same state as George W. Bush, sort of like the Dixie Chicks in reverse. (Read column.)

Some folks are more accommodating than others. So when I ran across this video by now-Dallas-based singer Jed Marum, who usually sings Celtic music, I had to e-mail a link to my Dallas-based, Irish-surnamed brother-in-law.
