Young boy in critical condition after drunk driving incident

A 10-year-old boy is in critical condition today after the 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer he was riding in crashed into a home.
The crash occured after the driver broke through a brick wall while fleeing two prior hit-and-runs Sunday night, Las Vegas police said.
The incident occurred at 7:30 p.m. Sunday near Michael Way and Seattle Slew Drive, where witnesses say the driver of the sport utility vehicle was traveling southbound on Michael Way fleeing the scene of two hit-and-run accidents.
The vehicle veered westbound and crashed through a brick wall before coming to rest in a home on the 2400 block of Bay Meadows Circle.
The 25-year-old driver of the SUV, Juan Esteves-Villegas, was arrested for felony driving under the influence and child neglect with substantial bodily harm.
The only passenger, a 10-year-old Las Vegas boy, was taken to University Medical Center for his injuries. He was not wearing a seat belt.
