One-page letter from the Pakistani kidnappers of American U.N. worker John Solecki, grabbed Feb. 2 after his driver was shot to death in the southwestern city of Quetta. The letter, demanding the release of 1,109 Baluchistan nationalists, was signed by the previously unknown Baluchistan Liberation United Front. It was not immediately clear whether the kidnappers also contend John Solecki's mother forced them to murder the driver.
