When officers arrived at the apartment complex near West Desert Inn Road, they found the woman suffering from stab wounds. other officers arrived to find the man armed with a knife. he began walking toward officer vehicles. to de-escalate the situation, they used their vehicle to get him down to the ground and take him into custody. the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Southern Nevada Health District verified a complaint it received from a guest saying they didn’t have enough heat or hot water during a recent stay. it’s unclear how many guests were affected, but a health district spokesperson said hot water has been restored as of Tuesday, and repairs to the heating issue are underway.
