Lawsuit advances on appeal

CARSON CITY — The Nevada Supreme Court unanimously upheld a lower court decision Thursday that members of a Clark County family may bring a malpractice lawsuit against Valley Hospital, though their missing lawyer previously settled the case on their behalf.

The $200,000 Great American Turkey Hunt begins at the South Point on Sunday when players can begin earning tickets for two Wednesday drawings from Nov. 11-Dec. 2. At both the 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. drawings, 15 names (who must be present to win) will be drawn, and each will win $1,000-$5,000.
