Rumors of the death of the Oasis in Mesquite have been greatly exaggerated. During a hearing on the Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization of Black Gaming LLC, officials said one proposal on the table is to tear down the Oasis Casino. But Black Gaming chief Randy Black Sr. said Wednesday there is not a timetable for the property’s demolition.

State revokes OneCap Mortgage Corp.’s license

State regulators on Wednesday revoked the mortgage broker’s license of Las Vegas-based hard-money lender OneCap Mortgage Corp. because the company failed to abide by the terms of a previous settlement agreement.
