Panel backs power plants

CARSON CITY — A governor-appointed panel Tuesday called for energy policy changes that aim to clean up Nevada’s air without jeopardizing the construction of more power plants in the state.

A story in Tuesday’s Review-Journal about a guilty plea to an attempted murder charge by Nicco Tatum, 19, contained an error. Tatum will not have to testify against two co-defendants, Dresden Williams and Franklin Jackson, according to a June 26 plea agreement.

Doctor licensing board official not recommending sanctions
