Las Vegas Personal Injury attorney Ryan Alexander has always believed that the holidays should be a time of joy, hope, and togetherness. Determined to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, he launched his charitable initiative, “Give Hope & Help,” a personal mission fueled by his own desire to give back to our local Las Vegas community and others around the world. During this time of year, being the best Las Vegas personal injury attorney isn’t on his mind. Instead, Alexander is focused on giving hope and help or a little boost to uplift those who are in need.
For the past five years, Alexander has brightened the season for local families facing difficult times. Each year, he invites Las Vegas locals and beyond to nominate deserving families through his website, ryanalexander.com. He then reviews the nominations and then selects families to receive gifts, food, and holiday essentials. A few days before Christmas, he and his team transform into Santa’s helpers, hand delivering presents and surprises meant to restore the magic of the season.
His generosity doesn’t end there. Alexander also created scholarships for college students, helping them begin the new year with possibilities rather than burdens. Now entering its fifth year, the Ryan Alexander Good Person Scholarship awards 20-30 scholarships twice a year to deserving students. The best part about the scholarship is that it is available to ANY STUDENT, in ANY SCHOOL, ANYWHERE! That’s right, if you are a single mom returning back to school, this is for you. If you are changing careers and need a little help with a trade school, this is for you. If you have a student in pre-k and just need some help with books, this is for you. Winners are chosen in January, offering a fresh start and a tangible reminder that someone believes in their potential.
For Alexander, these efforts stem from memories of his own childhood.
“My favorite moments growing up were always Christmas related, the anticipation, the excitement, the feeling of something special,” he said. “When I thought about how I wanted to give back, I went right back to those feelings. I wanted to recreate that joy for others.”
His giving spirit stretches beyond Nevada. Last year, he brought holiday cheer to children in Colombia, and this season, he plans to do the same in Mexico City, hand delivering toys and smiles the weekend before Christmas.
Alexander’s journey to becoming a Las Vegas personal injury attorney is as inspiring as the work he does today. Originally from Ontario, Canada, he came to the United States for college, served a Spanish speaking mission for the Mormon church, and later graduated from Harvard Law School. After relocating to Las Vegas in 2007, he opened his own practice two years later. Fluent in Spanish, he quickly recognized a need within the Hispanic community and built a firm where more than half of his clients and eight members of his staff are bilingual.
His message to the people he serves is simple and sincere: From Harvard to Helping, Attorney Ryan Alexander in the one you can trust and attorney who truly understands you, your language and culture, and most importantly your needs.
“I’ve been blessed in my own life,” Alexander said. “This is my way of sharing those blessings and helping others move forward.”
Through gifts, scholarships, and heartfelt compassion, Ryan Alexander isn’t just practicing law; he’s spreading hope, lighting up households, and reminding the community that kindness is the greatest gift of all.
