51s capitalize on four errors, defeat Isotopes

The 51s took advantage of four errors and held on for a 7-6 victory over host Albuquerque in a Pacific Coast League game Wednesday.

Las Vegas (63-48) scored four times in the fourth inning as the Isotopes (64-48) committed three errors. Danny Perales scored from second on a throwing error by third baseman Alex Castellanos. After Chris Woodward's RBI single, two errors by first baseman Scott Van Slyke allowed Mark Sobolewski to score. Woodward then came home on Ricardo Nanita's groundout, putting the 51s up, 4-2.

Woodward added an RBI double in a three-run sixth following another Isotopes error. Jerry Gil got his ninth save after Albuquerque scored once in the seventh and twice in the eighth.
