Juan Miranda hit a grand slam in the first inning, setting the tone for the Reno Aces' 10-5 victory over the 51s on Tuesday night at Aces Ballpark in Reno.
It was the third straight night the opposition had its way with Las Vegas pitching in a high-scoring game after the 51s split two 9-8 decisions to close out a series at Cashman Field against the Tucson Padres.
Miranda's blast came with two outs in the first off Robert Ray (0-2), who was roughed up for nine nits and nine runs in five innings.
Manny Mayorson and Ricardo Nanita each had two hits for the 51s (52-52), who collected nine hits off four Reno pitchers.
