Balanced Silverado breezes past Tech

Mikayla Thielges led four scorers in double figures with 19 points as Silverado's girls built a 31-15 halftime lead and cruised to a 67-48 victory at Tech on Tuesday.

Jessica Schmidt added 16 points for the Skyhawks, and Shea Collins scored 13 and Lisa Donnelly 10.

Mechel'la Logan topped the Roadrunners with 18 points. Cheryl Harless scored 16 and Adriana Heredia 11.

• Green Valley 51, Basic 34 -- At Green Valley, Victoria Naylor had 17 points and 10 assists to lead the Gators.

Danielle Christenson added 15 points, and Vajae Robinson grabbed 12 rebounds for Green Valley.

Michaela Thomas led Basic with 11 points.

• Liberty 51, Del Sol 29 -- At Liberty, Daynice Cochran scored 11 points and Amanda Delgado 10 as the Patriots defeated the Dragons.

Jade Washington had nine points and eight assists for Liberty.

Thelma Padilla scored 11 points for Del Sol, which trailed 28-17 at halftime.

• Foothill 39, Coronado 27 -- At Foothill, Mercedes Starr scored 13 points as the Falcons outlasted the Cougars.

Foothill held Coronado to eight points in the first half. Lindsay Decker led the Cougars with nine points, and Courtney Whitaker scored eight.

• Cheyenne 57, Cimarron-Memorial 50 -- At Cimarron, Raven Hicks scored 22 points and Ariel Ellis 17 as Cheyenne built an early lead before holding off the Spartans.

Catherine Wyre led Cimarron with 28 points and 12 rebounds. Precious Carroll added 10 points.

• Palo Verde 65, Arbor View 34 -- At Palo Verde, Hayley Henderson had 19 points to lift the Panthers over the Aggies.

Mikala Pride added 13 points for Palo Verde, which led 18-5 after the first quarter.

Erika Lang paced the Aggies with 15 points. Chelsea James scored nine.

• Centennial 95, Shadow Ridge 29 -- At Centennial, Johnna Brown had 25 points and 16 rebounds as the Bulldogs rolled.

Deanna Daniels added 20 points and 10 rebounds for Centennial, which led 42-19 at halftime and added a 28-4 edge in the third quarter.

Courtney Hayes scored 13 points and Rashawnda Gray 12 for the Bulldogs.

Elisha Hensey scored nine points to lead Shadow Ridge.

• Mojave 55, Legacy 45 -- At Mojave, Chelsea Hopkins scored 20 of her team's 32 second-half points to help the Rattlers beat Legacy.

Hopkins finished with 32 points. Mojave outscored the Longhorns 20-12 in the third quarter to pull ahead.

Jacky Burton scored 11 for Legacy.

• Virgin Valley 50, Faith Lutheran 27 -- At Mesquite, Courtney Spawn had 18 points as the Bulldogs improved to 22-2.

Rachel Morris added 10 points and 11 blocked shots for Virgin Valley.

Seanie Petersen led the Crusaders with eight points.
