TODAY AT HOLLYWOOD PARK

Post Time 7:05 p.m.
Race 1 - 1 mile (turf, rail at 10 feet), Purse $41,800, Claiming $40,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
4 Van Brit - Tiny edge because she has proven she can win without the lead; there is a lot of speed in here.
1 El Nadia - Joel Rosario must play cat and mouse with Martin Pedroza on Sleep Tight; only one can get the lead.
Long Shot - 2 Sleep Tight
Race 2 - 7 1/2 furlongs, Purse $25,300, Maiden claiming $30,000, 3-year-olds and up
4 Joker Face - Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; need not be much facing a slow field.
5 Unusual Jazz - Typical green debut, slow early, fast late; a decent start can make him pretty dangerous.
Long Shot - 7 Tiz Victorious
Race 3 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $22,000, Claiming $16,000, 3-year-olds and up
7 Warren's Warehouse - Taking a big class drop for John Sadler; lots of class droppers right before the Del Mar meet.
1 Exuma - Ran well late considering a parking lot post and slow start; more tactical speed than showed in last.
Long Shot - 4 Warren's Kong
Race 4 - 7 furlongs, Purse $55,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
2 Dot's Mark - Like the big rider switch to Rafael Bejarano for the money shot; grinder shortens up in distance.
1 My Brite Caroline - Ground saving trip for Joel Rosario; suspect he will move sooner this time around.
Long Shot - 8 Russian Bayou
Race 5 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $18,700, Claiming $8,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
6 Frequent Fame - Peter Miller can keep the momentum going here; finished fast in last after a difficult start.
5 Justincredible - Logical chalk was claimed by Mark Glatt off a solid second; these clearly are her friends for $8k.
Long Shot - 9 Rev Her Up
Race 6 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $38,500, Starter allowance $40,000, 3-year-olds and up
9 Los Bomberos - Among five horses that graduated last time out; like the parking lot post to stalk the pace.
5 Cadillac Coach - Has shown steady improvement with each career start; among many that showed high cheese last time.
Long Shot - 1 Songfoya
Race 7 - 6 furlongs (turf, rail at 10 feet), Purse $57,200, Optional claiming $25,000, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds and up
4 Dance With Gable - Turf sprint specialist should be double tough on the class drop; can win in front or stalking.
7 Aliza's Dream - Nice claim by Mike Pupye, looks ready to win right away; can cap a strong meet for the barn.
Long Shot - 1 Shadow of Illinois
Race 8 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $22,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
5 Three Cuties - Sad to see Cliff Sise give up training, but he had some horses that can run; first start under Paul Aguirre.
8 Filly Power - Logical chalk is sliding down the maiden claiming ladder; need not be much to handle this crew.
Long Shot - 1 Rags for Ben
Best Bet - 4 Dance With Gable (race 7)
Hollywood Park Thursday - Picks/Winners/Mutuels, 16/5/$31.80; Long Shots, 7/1/$31.80; Best Bet, 1/1/$3.20
Hollywood Park Totals - 792/207/$1,388.00; Long Shots, 388/62/$695.00; Best Bets, 44/21/$79.00
SIMULCAST PLAY OF THE DAY - #3 Ninety Schillings (2/1) in race 7 at Ellis Park. For scoring purposes, we'll make a hypothetical $2 win, place and show bet, $6 total. On Thursday, Katskill Bay ran third at Belmont Park paying $3.40 to show. Stats - 109/68/$559.50
