Race 1 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $17,000, Claiming $8,000, 3-year-olds and up
4 Craving Carats - Takes a huge class drop and takes the blinkers off; may have the early speed to pop the gate over less classy foes.
3 Valentine Boy - Was a stride late while closing fast in last; will need another set up as he does not have a drop of early speed.
Long Shot - 7 Let’s Get Crackin
Race 2 - 5 furlongs (turf), Purse $56,000, Maiden special weights, 3-year-olds and up
8 Act - His two downhill turf course races are really good; must transer this to a flat cut back distance tonight.
5 Domino Johnson - Showed good early speed in debut and may be quickest leaving the gate here too; outran his 27/1 odds in debut.
Long Shot - 4 Forest Chatter
Race 3 - 1 1/2 miles, Purse $26,000, Starter allowance $16,000, 3-year-olds and up
6 Prime Issue - Has been very productive since claimed three races back by the maestro Jerry Hollendorfer; tactical speed to sit a trip.
5 Perfect Set - Claimed by Art Sherman who is all smiles after California Chrome won the Hollywood Derby; fits well in this spot.
Long Shot - 2 Indian Nate
Race 4 - 1 1/8th miles (turf), Purse $58,000, Optional claiming $40,000, 3-year-olds and up
3 Press Baron - Was overmatched in last and now returns to a proper class level; like being reunited with Rafael Bejarano.
10 Christopher Street - Has developed a nice dead late closer style; will always be at the mercy of the early pace.
Long Shot - 13 Tigah
Race 5 - 1 mile, Purse $27,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, 3-year-olds and up
1 He’s a Bling - Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; like the rail post at a mile distance.
3 Yes Yes Yes - Another taking the biggest class drop from MSW to maiden claiming; like that Mike Smith remains loyal to the cause.
Long Shot - 6 Prospector Alley
Race 6 - 1 mile (turf), $150,000 Cecil B. DeMille, 2-year-olds
10 Conquest Typhoon - All his races have been either on grass or synthetics; has a natural stalking style and some late kick.
6 Daddy D T - Outran his big 17/1 odds in the BC Juvenile turf to finish third; the two best races on his resume are both on grass.
Long Shot - 9 Papacoolpapacool
Race 7 - 6 furlongs, Purse $60,000, Optional claiming $62,500, 3-year-olds and up
2 Ferocious - Sight unseen since a good third in the Laz Barrerra in May; promising sort returns in a very winable spot.
8 Midnight Hawk - This is meant to be a confidence booster off a miserable race in the Damascus; suprised they left the blinkers on.
Long Shot - 3 Heir of Storm
Race 8 - 1 mile (turf), $300,000 Matriarch, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
5 Discreet Marq - Small edge in a very interesting turf stakes; has tacitcal speed to stalk early and grind it out late.
3 La Tia - Speedball has only one way of going; the new Del Mar turf course has played fair, so she’ll win if she’s legit.
Long Shot - 2 Strathnaver
Race 9 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $56,000, Maiden special weights, 2-year-olds
4 Firing Line - Overcame a tardy start with an impressive finish; if he puts it all together here he’ll be double tough.
9 Big Hat Charlie - Showed good early speed before tiring late; from a sharp barn so expect logical improvement in second career start.
